Slick Interconnectable Optical Rechargeable Smoke Alarm

The Kidde 2SFWR Interconnectable Optical Smoke Alarm is a mains-powered optical smoke detector with rechargeable battery backup. Part of the Slick range, you can link this product with up to 23 other Kidde and Firex mains alarms. It also comes with a rechargeable lithium cell back-up battery. The product comes complete with an LED display which shows green when the unit is powered and fully functional. It also features a test button for you to test the smoke alarm function regularly and a hush control feature to silence nuisance alarms temporarily. Alarm Status Red LED flashes once every 35 seconds normal operation, flashes rapidly typically once every 2/3 seconds unit sensing a fire event, flashes once every 10 seconds, unit in hush condition, auto reset after 7 minutes. Interconnection Up to 24 units (smoke, heat and CO) can be hardwire interconnected using SMART interconnect system with optional control, up to 15 units can be wireless interconnected using appropriate Wireless Base RF-SFTP. Alarm has a unique fast-fit system, fast push-fit connection, interconnectable, wireless capability and a deep base which allows easier wiring. The slick range requires installation by a professionally qualified electrician and complies with UK Building Regulations for new housing and associated standards (Grade D2, BS5839, Part 6).
