The Kidde 3SFWR Interconnectable Rechargeable Heat Alarm is a mains-powered heat detector that is most suitable for humid and dusty areas within your home, such as kitchens, garages and boiler rooms. It’s also ideal for private and social residential housing. Part of the Slick range, you can link this product with up to 23 other Kidde and Firex mains alarms. It also comes with a tamper-proof lithium battery backup. The product comes complete with an LED display which shows green when the unit is powered and fully functional. Alarm status red LED flashes once every 35 seconds normal operation, flashes rapidly typically once every 2/3 seconds unit sensing a fire event, flashes once every 10 seconds, unit in hush condition, auto reset after 7 minutes It also features a test button for you to test the smoke alarm function regularly and a hush control feature to silence nuisance alarms temporarily. Unique fast-fit system with separate base plate, for ease of fitting and maintenance. This range requires installation by a professionally qualified electrician and complies with UK Building Regulations for new housing and associated standards (Grade D2, BS5839, Part 6).
