Designed to interconnect with up to 23 other Kidde or Firex alarms, it provides full-home coverage by ensuring that when one alarm detects danger, all connected alarms sound simultaneously and identifies the source unit within the interconnecting network for faster identification of the hazard. Combined Test/Hush Button regularly tests the alarm’s function or temporarily silence nuisance alarms (such as from steam or cooking) with the hush feature. Designed with a dust-compensation feature and an insect-resistant mesh to enhance performance and reduce false alarms. The unit is equipped with a long-life 9V lithium battery as a backup, providing extra peace of mind in the event of a power outage. Meets Grade D BS 5839, Part 6, making it suitable for installation in new homes as per UK regulations. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Comes with 6 year warranty.
