The MC542 is a two gang, 2 way switch from BG Electrical's Metal Clad, heavy duty wiring accessories range. It is a rated 10A, 10AX and comes complete with a metal mounting box. This range of metal clad wiring accessories feature a rugged, scratch resistant metal face with a durable powder coated finish, no visible plastic around the switches and angled in-line colour coded captive terminals. The BG Electrical MC542 has a terminal capacity 4 x 1.0mm², 4 x 1.5mm², 2 x 2.5mm² and 1 x 4.0mm². It is manufactured to BS EN 60669-1 standards and comes with a 25 year guarantee.
