The NPC81P is a single, push on/off dimmer switch from BG Electrical's Nexus decorative accessories range. It is a one gang, two way 400W switch in a polished chrome finish. The NPC81P has a modern, slim profile with no visible plastic around the switch. It requires a minimum mounting box depth of 25mm and has angled colour coded terminals with captive screws. The BG Electrical NPC81P is suitable for use with both CFL (compact fluorescent lamps) and LEDs; there can be issues with dimming these lights at a low lighting level, however the Nexus dimmers have an adjustable minimum level feature which can be used to adjust the lighting output at a low level, to stabilise the load. It is manufactured to BS EN 60669-2-1 standards and comes with a 25 year guarantee.
