Optical Smoke Alarm with 9V Alkaline Battery back-up

The Ei146RC is a mains powered optical smoke alarm with battery back up. This smoke alarm has an optical smoke chamber with a built in mesh screen to reduce insect and dust contamination. It is particularly good at detecting slow, smouldering fires caused by sofas or settees and electrical fires, so is ideal for use in hallways and landings, living rooms/lounges and dining rooms, and is easy to install thank to the easi-fit base supplied. This Aico 140RC series smoke alarm can be interconnected with other alarms and accessories either through a hard wired connection or using a RadioLINK wireless interconnection. See product Ei168RC. As this alarm contains a 9V Alkaline battery back up, this battery will need changing over the course of it's ten year life. It has a built-in sounder which is 85dB(A) at 3m, manufactured to BS EN14604:2005 and comes with a 5 year guarantee.
