Heat Alarm with 9V Alkaline Battery back-up

The Ei144RC is a mains heat alarm with battery back up. This heat alarm has a thermistor that triggers when the temperature is 58°C and is particularly good at detecting large, fast flaming fires caused commonly by kitchen fires so is ideal for use in kitchens and garages. As this alarm reacts to heat not smoke, it is more resistant to fumes, such as burnt toast and therefore less likely to false alarm. It is easy to install thank to the easi-fit base supplied and can be interconnected with other alarms and accessories either through a hard wired connection or using a RadioLINK wireless interconnection. See product Ei168RC. As this alarm contains a 9V Alkaline battery back up, this battery will need changing over the course of it's ten year life. It has a built-in sounder which is 85dB(A) at 3m, manufactured to BS EN14604:2005 and comes with a 5 year guarantee.
